Focusing

Once we become aware of any thoughts based on the past, future, or our emotions, we can then try to redirect our thoughts into the present moment. 

Being completely in the present moment is also known as being FOCUSED.

Many outside the games of baseball and softball consider the games to be slow and boring because of a lack of action. In reality there is plenty of action in comparison to other sports, but the difference is that the action in baseball and softball is broken down to very small increments of time. This makes the ability to be ultra-focused for short amounts of time an invaluable skill for any player. 

So what is the best strategy to break the game down and make sure we are able to focus when we need to?
