Fastballs – Least likely pitch to be able to see seams. Will see mostly white ball.

Curveballs/Sliders/Cutters – Can often see a small red dot or circle.

Changeups/Sinkers – May be able to see more seams than on a straight, four-seam fastball. Spin may look less tight and uniform than the fastball or breaking ball.

Splitters – May see a “knuckleball” look, as it has very little spin.
